AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season

In a surprising partnership that breaks usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned practices and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Content

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This release also adds the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
